The original Deyala brought essays, poems, stories, art, and ideas together in a monthly print magazine. The editions preserved here begin in September 2014, carrying the curious, welcoming spirit of a community publication.
The digital magazine
We are moving the magazine online so readers can access earlier editions and contributors can submit their work more easily. Each new issue is selected and prepared by the editorial team. Contributors retain copyright in their work.
What we publish
We welcome poems, short stories, essays, personal writing, illustrations, photography and other visual work. Both new and experienced contributors are welcome.
